Fidalgo Christian Childcare was founded by two mothers that have both have a need for broader childcare options and a desire to meet this need for others in the community. We would like to see more individuals involved in the decisions and structure of this future childcare center.

Mother of 2, relocated to Anacortes in 2017 and would love to see the needs of this community met.
MELISSA WILLIAMS
Founding Member
Wants the women of Fidalgo Island to have safe and convenient care for their children while, in turn, allowing for personal career development.
RONDA DUPEA
Neurodevelopmental Specialist
Wants to see each child reach their full potential, and make sure their needs are met.
Want to know what would be expected of a board member?
As a non-profit organization Fidalgo Christian Childcare needs a board of directors to make the following decisions:

Finalize the organization’s mission, strategy, and goals.

Decide on the roles of President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Make hiring choices for a credentialed director, an assistant director, lead teachers, assistant teachers, chef and janitorial/grounds workers.

Choose the curriculum.

Allocate any excess funds—into the upkeep of the center, additional expansion, or scholarship opportunities.
